Llangrannog is a delightful seaside village.  It has asandy beach and if the tide is out or if you walk along the coastal path another secret beach the other side of the main beach.  It  has numerous eating establishments, the Pentre Arms has a nice selection of bar meals, with usually a choice of special fish dishes which we believe are caught locally. The Ship Inn also does bar meals and has a nice selection of ales. The Patio Café is famous for its ice cream and also has a delicious menu of snacks and main meals. The beach hut does take away chips, noting better than chips by the beach in our opinion! The also have delicious cakes, coffees available for take away or eating in.

The pretty Georgian harbour town of Aberaeron is worth a visit.  The colourful terrace houses along the harbour are quite famous.  The honey ice cream served on the harbour is wroth trying.  Plenty of places to dine to suit all tastes.  It is possible to walk along the old railway line to the National Trust property of Llanerchaeron.
